Video Transcript for Review of Redline Galvanized Steel UShaped BoltOn Brackets Plastic Single Axle Fender - PF1135-BKT-2

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this Galvanized Steel U-shaped Bolt On Bracket for your plastic single axle fender. Now, right up front, I do wanna let you know that you can either get a single bracket like I have here on my table before me, or you can pick up a pair of these brackets. And on your screen I am including our item numbers, either for the single one, or for the pair. And whichever setup is going to work best for you, you can just take that item number, pop it in the search field of our website.

That will take you to the one that you're looking for, either the single or the pair, and you can add that to your order. Now this hot dipped galvanized steel bracket is specifically designed to make it easier to mount the fender that you see there on your screen, identified by that item number. So if you have that fender, this bracket will make it easier to install this. And this is going to install with the hardware that you supply. So no hardware is included with this bracket.

And let me go ahead and just give you some overall dimensions so you can be confident that this is indeed what you need. So let me get my tape measure here. My ruler just isn't quite big enough to measure that length. So measuring end to end, we're sitting right at 13 and a quarter inches long. Let me bring that in there.

There we go. 13 and a quarter inches long. And then looking at the width, we're sitting right at about two and three quarters inches wide. And then each leg of the U, measuring inside there to the top of that U, we're right at a about an inch deep. Now I realize you're probably wanting some further measurements just to make sure this is going to work for you.

So rather than taking additional time and putting a ruler on every aspect of this bracket, take a look at that diagram that you see there on your screen, that's going to have virtually every measurement that you're looking for, just so you can be confident that this bracket is going to be just what you need. Well, I think that's going to wrap up our brief look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

A good sturdy bracket for plastic fenders. Had to get a little creative with mounting on our trailer as this wasn't the original intended make of trailer. But they work and are very sturdy.

Well I can't believe it's really been a year since I purchased all the parts from Etrailer to rebuild my jon boat trailer. I bought this tilt trailer on craigslist and well let's just say needed some MAJOR TLC. From the roller brackets, fenders, tires/wheels, hitch coupler, winch, etc.. All the parts have held up extremely well and I am VERY happy with not only the quality of the parts but the customer service as well. This is my "GOTO" place to buy parts for all 3 of my trailers!!

Great item

by:

It is working well after a year. I have always had excellent results with products I order from etrailer and this was no exception.

by:

The parts worked exactly as advertised on my boat trailer and have been lasting and working perfectly.

by:

Out with the old, in with the new.
Well
pleased with the result.
When I took off the old fenders, I discovered the supports were in good
shape, and with some Rube Goldberg work was able to use the to secure the
new fenders to the trailer. All 280 pounds of me appreciate the sturdiness of the new fenders -- and the fact they are not going to rust.

by:

Great product .Easy fitment .Used it on my pod camper along with Fulton fenders .

by:

Good quality brackets but had to redrill for holes to line up with my particular fenders.

by:

My previous fender supports were damaged in a blow out. While these supports are not designed for the fender I purchased, the dimensioning specs and photos allowed me to determine that I can modify these to work.

by:

Brackets are different than my old set , so I will need to get some U bolts to attach the fender. However the fender looks great and just like the original equipment. Shipping was on time .

by:

Brackets are great. I was very impressed with the prompt delivery and customer care from the start to the end.

Im very happy with the prices, the speed of delivery and the communication process.

  • How are Fulton Plastic Top and Side Step Fenders Attached to Trailer
I'd be happy to help you with that. For starters, the # F008584-2 fenders you'd looked at are designed for 14 inch wheels, you'd be better served going with the # F008585-2 which are designed for 15 inch wheels like the ones you have. You'll need two sets of # PF1135-BKT-2 mounting brackets that use u-bolts to mount to the trailer frame. The u-bolts you need would need to be tall and wide enough to fit around the frame member of your trailer. I'll provide a photo that'll give you an...

  • Replacement Fender for Single Axle Escort Boat Trailer
The only white fenders we have that will fit your 15" wheels are the # PF11X35W-2. We also have reports that this was a match for a 2000 Escort boat trailer, so it is likely this is the same part. If you decide you only want to place the one fender we do have a single fender available as well # PF11X35W. We don't have the same mounting bracket style so you would need the # PF1135-BKT-2. The mounting holes on the brackets are 3-5/8" apart so you would need to acquire U-bolts from your local...

  • How to Choose Correct Boat Trailer Fenders
I didn't receive any information about your boat trailer, but I can explain how we classify them for you, which hopefully will help you to decide which fenders you want to go with. If you're only looking to replace one fender, unfortunately we have no way of looking up which exact fenders your boat trailer left the factory with. You might need to go with 2 fenders so they'll match. We classify the fenders according to the wheel diameters they're compatible with. For instance, the Fulton #...

  • Brackets for Fulton Trailer Fenders that can Attach to Trailer Frame
To attach fenders to the frame of your trailer you would need look at the frame in relation to the fenders now so that you can come up with what would make the most sense. With fenders like the Fulton single axle trailer part # F008585-2 you could use brackets like the part # PF1135-BKT-2 which fit into the bracket pockets on the front and back of the fender and then attach to the frame. This is most likely the best way to do what you are looking for.

  • Brackets to Mount CE Smith Trailer Fenders
L-brackets like the part # CE26098G-2 are a great option for installing the CE Smith Fenders part # CE19503-2. If the fenders will mount right up to the side of the trailer frame I would go with the # PF1135-BKT-2 though as this would be easiest way to install them.

  • Dimension of Mounting Hole on Redline Trailer Fender # PF11X35W
I was able to go out to the warehouse and measure the mounting brackets holes for the PF11X35W and found that it was 5-5/16 inches or 5.3125 inches. If these aren't an exact match, new holes can usually be drilled into the brackets to make them compatible. The recommended bracket for this fender is the # PF1135-BKT, this bracket works well for mounting fenders to a boat or other open sided trailer. The brackets use u-bolts to attach to the trailer frame and then the fenders mount to...

  • Mounting Bracket For Fulton Fender - 15" Wheel With Top & Side Steps
Yes! The Fulton # F008585-2 is compatible with the Galvanized Steel, U-Shaped, Bolt-On Brackets # PF1135-BKT-2 I've attached a helpful image that details the distances between the holes on this bracket. FYI, these brackets are a universal product. There may be a need to drill another hole on the Fulton fender to get the bracket to mount correctly to it, but it will work. The fender is modifiable and new holes can be drilled with ease to fit the bracket to your fender and trailer.

  • Replacement Plastic Step Fenders For Trailer With Welded Fender Brackets and 24" Tall Wheels
Based on your images and measurements which are a great help I recommend going with the Fulton Single Axle Trailer Fenders # F008584-2. Instead of using your included mounts I recommend cutting them off the frame as they are far to close to your tires and could cause issues for you down the road. I don't have a fender that exactly matches the dimensions you provided, but the Fulton fender, # F008583 for black, # F008573 for white and # F008593 for silver come pretty close. The fender is 9 inches wide, 12 inches tall and 40 inches long, as you can see in the provided diagram. Each fender would attach to the trailer using the # PF1135-BKT-2 brackets, which includes two brackets. For two fenders, you'd need two sets of brackets.

  • Brackets for Installing Fulton Trailer Fenders
Hey Ryan, the bracket kit part # PF1135-BKT-2 is normally the best solution as long as the trailer has a frame rail that runs the perimeter of it. Then if the frame is 2 inches wide you would want the part # CE15284GA and you'd be set. The other option is L-brackets like the part # CE26098G-2 which are a bit more universal but do require drilling so they are a little more involved to install.
