Question:

Will this fit in a 2001 Winnebago Journey dl 36LD? And will the exterior door still work with the existing cut out for the exhaust? Thanks again

Hey Juan. The Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater item # FR98SR requires a cutout space of 12-3/4" to 12-13/16" wide a height of 12-5/8" to 12-3/4" and a minimum depth of 23-1/2". I can't give you a definite yes or no because I do not have any way of knowing what size the cutout is on your Winnebago Journey or what water heater you have.

Do you have a model number off of your current water heater? I can look up the size and space requirements of it and let you know if the Furrion item # FR98SR is compatible or find you one that is.

@JuanS Thanks for the information! The Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater item # FR98SR will definitely work as a replacement for your Atwood GCH10A-3E. You will need to replace your existing door though. To choose the correct door size you'll want to measure your current door and then choose from the following to cover the entire cutout hole: 16" x 16" Door item # FR98SR 16" x 18" Door item # FR48SR 18" x 18" Door item # FR68SR You'll also need butyl tape item # AL28FJ for the backside of the mounting flanges for the water heater and access door as well as some non-sag sealant item # 344270341437-1 to go around the outer edge of the access door.
