Does Go Power Automatic Transfer Switch Have Switch to Remove Generator Delay
Updated 07/16/2025 | Published 07/12/2025 >
Question:
Ive read through the documentation and I am still not clear as to whether or not my shore power and 50A inverter/charger dual Victron units in parallel powered by 900Ah of LiFePo only application will automatically switch without a delay. Other ATS models have a configuration circuit or toggle that will remove the delay for a generator as it powers up and power stabilizes. Did I miss something? If so please enlighten me. I think this unit is exactly what I need.

Hi Doug; I reached out to Go Power and the # 34270278 does not have a toggle to remove the delay for a generator. As it is, there is a preprogrammed 20-30 second delay so the generator has a brief warm-up period. They did say you can work around this by adding a shunt jumper to the timing board. The silk screen on the transfer switch has writing on it to indicate where to put the jumper.
What kind of trailer do you have?
