Are The Caliber Marine Slides Flexible?

Updated 08/07/2025 | Published 07/12/2025

Question:

Caliber Marine Slides for Boat Trailer Bunks - 3inch Wide - White - Qty 10 Are these flexible? The bunks on my trailer are 2x12inch with the 2inch part up. The bunk is beveled about 1inch in which means these 3inch slides need to bend in the middle. Many years ago I placed glides that are 3x48inch and they were flexible. Time has taken its toll on them and I need to replace them.

Hello Mike, thanks for reaching out. I went out to our warehouse and got my hands on one of the Caliber Marine Slides. They are slightly flexible, but not that much. You would not be able to bend just one end of the slide, but if you needed to install them over a gradual curve it would definitely be possible. I took a picture to try to help illustrate about how much the slides will bend. You could definitely use them to cover a gradual curve, but not a sharp turn. I hope this helps. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Hey Mike, how did the installation of the Caliber Marine Slides go on your trailer bunks? I'm curious if they worked out for your setup since they have some flexibility. Let me know if there's anything else I can assist with!
