Great question, Tammy. Start by inflating the Shocker Hitch Shock Absorbing Gooseneck Coupler w/ Demco eZ-Latch - 2-5/16" Ball # SHK56YR to 15 psi, then do a short pull with your trailer. Adjust up or down 5 psi increments until the ride feels balanced and you’re not bottoming out. You’ll usually only need to tweak it for significantly different loads. Never exceed 100 psi.

Let the air out during storage and park it out of direct sunlight to prolong bag life. Want help tuning it for your trailer? Let’s chat weight and usage; what's your setup Tammy?

Tech Note from Shocker Hitch: if you have a recessed gooseneck ball, there must be at least a 12" x 12" opening in your bed for this coupler to work. In addition, the top of the hitch ball cannot be more than 2" from the top of the bed.

Hey Tammy, how did adjusting the PSI work out for your trailer setup? I'm curious to know if you found the right balance for your load, as it could help others in a similar situation.
