Can the Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler Be Drilled for Pins

Question:
I have a question concerning the Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler - Round - 30,000 lbs. I notice it is not drilled for a pin and it looks like it is held into place by the two set bolts on the hitch. Can this coupler be easily drilled to provide the installation of a pin?

The Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler part # CG is designed to be used with set screws, we cannot recommend you drill to use a pin. That said, it will still work on an inner tube with pre-drilled holes for the pins so there won't be an issue. If you prefer the pin style I have attached a list of other options below
