Hello Ramzey,

I found just what you need. I do not have a database that supplies me with what is on what trailer, in my research I see that the 2015 Karavan double PWC trailer, model WC-2450-84-L, is equipped with a single galvanized steel spring axle. This axle has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 2,935 lbs and a carrying capacity of 2,450 lbs., but uses 3,500 pound parts.

Since your leaf spring is measuring 27" (hoping this is unloaded weight) you will need the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles - 27" Long # e97SR.

What kind of watercraft are you hauling? What body of water do you go to? We have the Lake of the Ozarks not too far from here in Missouri, although I prefer Mark Twain in the Summer. Wakes are too bad at the Ozarks for our Bass boat in the summer.

Hi Kate, Thank you for your response! I did have an addition question as to what mounting brackets I will need and torque specs if possible. I have 2 seadoo’s that I take to the Ozarks a few times a year. Usually go to Clinton lake since it’s so close. I look forward to speaking with you!

@Ramzey I forgot to mention before that you will also need the CE Smith U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 2" Square Trailer Axles - 4-1/2" Long U-Bolts - Zinc # CE23103 as it is recommended to not re-use u-bolts as they do stretch over time. Since the # CE23103 have a 1/2" diameter U-bolts you’ll want to torque those nuts down between 45 and 70 foot-pounds. As for the shackle bolts at the ends of the springs, there’s no exact torque number you need to hit. In fact, it’s best not to overtighten them. Cranking them down too much can pinch the shackle straps against the leaf springs, which could stiffen things up and keep your suspension from doing its job. The better approach is to use lock nuts, tighten them just until they’re snug, and then back them off about a quarter turn to allow for proper movement. I've never been to Clinton, and it's not that far of a drive. Will have to make it out there sometime, on week 6 of waiting for the new motor for the Ranger.... fingers crossed we get the call soon as I am getting antsy!
