USA-made leaf spring provides an attachment point for your trailer's axle. Spring flexes to resist shock while ensuring a smooth ride. Includes bushings with 9/16" inner diameter.

Specs:
Leaf springs, as you probably know, make up an important part of your trailer's suspension. Their main purpose is to absorb road shock as you travel, as well as allow your axle(s) to move independently of the rest of the trailer.
To mount this leaf spring, you'll need hangers welded onto your trailer frame - which you probably already have in place - as well as shackle straps and a suspension bolt. It's a good idea to replace your existing straps and bolt while you're under there working on things because they tend to wear out quickly. One thing that could help keep them from wearing out too fast would be upgrading to galvanized or zinc-plated hardware. Doing so will boost the corrosion resistance and, therefore, the longevity of your trailer.
We also always recommend replacing both of your springs at the same time because it's not unusual for leaf springs to sag and elongate over time. If you replace just the one, there's a good chance that it won't match your existing spring on the opposite side of your trailer, and that can mess up your alignment.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this TrueRyde 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for your 2000 pound trailer axle. Now, this spring is made of a sturdy steel construction and this is designed to flex to absorb road shock and give you a smooth ride, reducing wear and tear on your trailer, and it's going to help ensure a level ride on bumpy and uneven surfaces. So this is designed to mount to your trailer frame with hangers or a hanger kit. Those items are sold separately. But if you are in need of them, we do carry them right here at etrailer.com.
On each of the eyes here, we have pre-installed nylon bushings. And again, this is going to contain three leaves and the leaf thickness is 1/4 of an inch. And this has an individually a spring capacity of 1000 pounds. So if you pair this with another, then that's where you're gonna get your 2000 pound trailer axle that this is designed for. And then let me see if I can show you the length from the center of the spring eye to the center of the spring eye.
It's gonna be kind of tricky here, so lemme see if I can line that up there for you. So it looks like we are sitting right at 20 3/8 inches on center. And then the width of the spring is 1 3/4 inches. The diameter of the eye width, the bushings is 9/16 of an inch. Without the bushings, it's 11/16 of an inch.
And to ensure proper axle alignment and suspension performance, we do recommend that you replace the leaf springs in pairs. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
