Can The Hitch Receiver Lock e98881 Work With My 14k BulletProof Hitch?

Question:

Parte98881 Can I use these with a bulletproof hitch? I know it would work for the truck connection but can they replace the 2 pins for my 4” hitch, it have the 10k/14k rated one. Thank you

Hey Derek,

As long as your BulletProof Hitch is a 2" or 2-1/2" receiver the hitch lock # e98881 is going to work for you. They use the standard 5/8 pin diameter for those size hitch accessories. One thing I recommend double checking it how much length you will need in case of anything that may interfere. The pin is 6-7/8" long so as long as that is a usable length for your setup this lock will work great for you.

What are you towing with that BulletProof Hitch?

I get that it will work for the trucks receiver. My question is if it can replace the 2 pins that are located on the drop portion of the hitch?

@Derek Both the pin hole diameter and the adjustment hole diameter are the same 5/8". So yes you can use those to replace the 3 on the drop hitch, they use the same diameter pin.
