Looking For OEM Style Roof Rack For 2023 Honda Ridgeline

Updated 09/02/2025 | Published 06/20/2025

Question:

I have a 2023 Honda Ridgeline with a bare roof. Id like to have roof racks that attach like OEM racks, not using clamps or other devices to attach to truck. Essentially so look like OEM rails. Thanks for your helpit is hard for a sport truck neophyte to figure all this stuff out.

Hey Kirk, thanks for reaching out. So for the bare roof model of the 2023 Ridgeline, the only custom fit options we offer are the clamp-on style racks like the Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack for Naked Roofs # Y83AB.

Typically the OEM style racks mount to a track system, or to a fixed mounting point already present on the roof. Since your vehicle doesn't have that, the only way to add an OEM style rack would be to install a set of tracks on the roof.

For example, the Yakima Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells # Y57CV comes with 54" tracks and 60" aero crossbars. This will require drilling into the roof though, so I am not sure how keen you are to drill into your new car. Professional installation is definitely recommended. Also you will want to confirm you have adequate space to mount a 54" track on the roof.

A custom fit roof rack really will be the better option since there would be no drilling or modification required. The roof clamps are quite secure, and are custom fitted to the contours of your roof.

What are you planning on using the roof rack for?

Hey Kirk, did you decide to go with the clamp-on style roof rack or consider installing tracks for an OEM look? I'm curious about your choice as it could help others with similar vehicles.
