Parts Needed to Install 7-Way and Brake Controller on 2013 Volvo XC60 with 5-Way

Good Afternoon, I have a volvo 2013 XC 60 that I installed the trailer wiring harness from you on a few years back with is a 5 pin flat connector. I need to install a 7 pin connector for our new boat trailer that we are getting which has electric brakes. Can you assist in what I will all need for this. I was looking at the Redarc brake controller and the Curt echo in line bluetooth controller. For my vehicle what would be my best option and what other parts will I need to complete this install? Hey Dan, the Redarc Tow Pro Elite part # RED44FR that you referenced is the way to go. It performs a lot better than most controllers but especially the Curt Echo that I would not recommend for anyone since the app is in a really bad place right now. What you'd need to install this is just the brake controller install kit part # ETBC7.
This comes with everything needed to wire in a brake controller as well as convert to a 7-way.
