Will Optronics Sealed Oval Trailer Stop Light Replace the Bargman Light on my 2002 Homesteader

Question:
I need to replace a couple of burned out tail lights on my 2002 Homesteader/Stallion horse trailer. The underside white base says Bargman. The exterior red area of the tail light has DOT Stipp2 97 imprinted on it. Will this 6 1/2 x 2 1/2 replacement light by Optronics that you carry work?? Thanks!

Expert Reply:
It will fit Bargman part # 40-06-001. Since your light is a Bargman unit, you will just need to find the part number on it somewhere. The DOT 97 number has to do with Department of Transportation regulations and you will see similar numbers stamped on most lights.
If you find 40-06-001 on the light, then this Optronics light will work as a direct replacement. If you find a different part number, please write back and I will help you find exactly which light will fit.
