Hello Jackie, there are actually locks included in the Aluma-Tow adjustable 2" & 2-5/16" ball mount kits for 2" receivers:
-silver # UR45PR
-black # UR95PR
There are actually 2 locking pins; 1 for the shank in the receiver, and 1 for the ball mount portion. This way it is locked to the vehicle, and also keeps the balls locked to the shank. Then there is a theft-deterrent lock ring at the bottom of the ball mount assembly which makes it difficult to remove without a specialty tool. Most thieves will not have this tool; I personally had to go buy this tool for a repair job awhile back and I didn't even know the tool existed. But luckily you'd never need to remove this lock ring as the hitch rotates, hence the name :).
What truck and trailer setup do you have? I assume you have a tall truck or plan to tow multiple trailers.
