Best Trailer Hitch For 2025 Ford Mustang Ecoboost

Question:

I need a trailer hitch for a 2025 Ford Mustang Ecoboost. A class 1 1.25 hitch would do. You show a Curt hitch available in September. What are the odds of this happening in that time frame ?

Hello Denis, thanks for reaching out. The correct trailer hitch for the 2025 Ford Mustang Ecoboost is the Curt Class 1 Hitch # C45RJ. This is a new hitch so it is still in production at the moment and the ETA is currently set for September 2025. It is available for pro-order at this time. Typically the dates for these pre-order hitches are pretty accurate, but with it being only May, there is a chance it gets pushed back a few weeks. The date is always subject to change up until they are actually in stock. Right now we are still on pace for September, and the website will be updated if anything changes.

Hey Denis, did you decide to go ahead with the pre-order for the Curt Class 1 Hitch for your Mustang? I'm asking because knowing your experience with the pre-order process could help others considering the same option.

@JesseM I see that Curt hitches has changed the tentative date for production and delviery for the hitch for a 2025 Ford Mustang. I see a new pre-order date is July 2026 on your website. How accurate is that or is that still a tentative date. If you pre-order, and it does not come in by end of July, will I be refunded the purchase price? Thank you

@TomL Hey Tom. Curt is still working on their hitch for the 2025 Mustang and right now July is our best estimate for availability. With it being that far out, that date is subject to change, but usually those estimates are fairly accurate. We don't actually charge you for the order until it ships so if you have to cancel that is not a problem. Hopefully we can get it to you on time.
