Question:
My 2011 Subaru Outback has the factory 1 1/4 hitch. I need to start using a 4-bike bike rack. Is there a 2 hitch that will fit under the factory 1 1/4 hitch?

Hey Sean, we have great 2 inch hitch options for your 2011 Subaru Outback Wagon like the etrailer part # e42TR but nothing we offer would fit underneath the factory hitch. You would need to remove the OEM hitch to install this. This hitch does give you the ability to carry a 4 bike rack though. Do you have a bike rack picked out already?

Hey Sean, did you decide to go with the 2-inch hitch option for your Subaru Outback? I'm curious if it worked out for carrying your 4-bike rack. Your experience could help others looking to upgrade their hitch.
