What is the Difference Between the etrailer and OEM Hitch for a 2025 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500?

What are the differences between this hitch and the one that comes OEM on the van?

Hey Ashley. It looks like the OEM hitch on the 2025 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 has a removable receiver and built in brackets to attach wiring harnesses for towing. The 2" receiver on our etrailer item # e76AR is not removable, it does not have built in brackets but it costs 1/4 of the price.
I can't help you with the removable receiver option but you can install the No-Drill Mount for Electrical Mounting Bracket item # 18140 to have a mounting location for a wiring harness.
