How to Get the DeeZee Custom-Fit Truck Bed Mat to Lie Flat After Install

Question:

Bought a DeeZee bed mat for my ram 3500 with 8 foot bed. The tail gate end of mat won’t lay flat. I’m guessing because of how thick it is? Any suggestions how to get it to lay flat, or just wait for the hot weather? I love how thick the mat is.

Hey Norman welcome back! Heats going to work but for now you can lie something heavy on the end of the DeeZee Custom-Fit Truck Bed Mat item # DZ28GJ to speed up the process. Those come rolled up so it's still got that memory to it from being stored that way as soon as it was manufactured. You could also remove it and lie it upside down with something heavy on that tailgate end too.

Hey Norman, did placing something heavy on the end of the bed mat help it lay flat? I'm asking because your experience could help others dealing with the same issue.
