Will DeeZee Bed Mat for 2024 Chevrolet 1500 Flatten Out

Question:

I just bought a DeeZee bed mat through local NAPA auto parts for my new Chevy 2024 1500. It looks and fits well. It was rolled up for shipping and it wants to stay rolled up. I had it for one day now. Front and back want to stay curled. Will that straighten out? I dont want to bolt it down yet at this point. Let me know if it will flatten out. Thanks.

Hello Con; the DeeZee Custom-Fit Truck Bed Mat # DZ96GJ will flatten out over time. If you want to try to get some of that curling out before installing it I would lay it out on your driveway in the sun and throw some bricks or something similar on to hold it down flat.

I have had weight on it in truck bed now for 2 weeks but still has not flattened out nice. Maybe when hot summer comes it will mellow out. Don't know. Built too strong. Ha.

@ConH ah yeah since we're out of summer now it won't work as well if it has already cooled down where you're at. You could also try something like a heat gun and flex it the opposite way as long as you're careful to not damage it or burn your hand. Otherwise I'm sure it will be better when summer comes back around.
