Question:
Regarding the MAL43FR… Would the trailer be able to fit two Old Town Sportsman PDL 106 kayaks, each measuring 35 inches wide, if lying flat and side by side within the support brackets? Also, do the trailers have a VIN number stamped on them and all other necessary info weight, DOT info required by New York State for registration purposes? Thank you!

Hello Joe, thanks for reaching out. That is going to be really tight since the crossbars on the Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer # MAL43FR are only 58" long. Even with the support brackets positioned as far outboard as possible, I do not see two 35" wide kayaks fitting side by side and fitting correctly.
A much better option for this will be the Malone MicroSport Trailer # MPG460G. This has a 78" crossbar which will be plenty of room for your two Old Town Sportsman PDL 106 kayaks. You can use a kayak carrier like the Malone MegaWing Fishing Kayak Roof Rack # MPG207. Or you can do what I do and just flip the kayak upside down and put it directly on the crossbars. As long as it is tied down correctly it will be safe and secure.
To answer your other question, yes the trailers do come with a VIN. After the order is placed, we would mail you all the necessary paperwork and title for you to take to your DMV.
