Question:

Hi there, I decided to get a stealth hitch for my 2023 Ioniq 5. Do you have any experience with these hitches? Are they reliable and safe to hold like a heavy Ebike and a rack? I spoke with someone from Uhaul and he was a little hesitant on the stealth hitch. Anyways, any information you can share would be lovely. Thank you!

Hey Josh! The Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH98GR for your 2023 Ioniq 5 is incredibly reliable and safe (as it should be for the cost). This is a really great company that is actually under B&W. If you don't know anything about B&W they're one of the best in the business when it comes to towing products.

The # SH98GR can handle any accessories up to 350 lbs. Even with a couple heavy e-bikes and the weight of the bike rack you probably won't come close to that. If you plan on towing you need the # SH32YR instead which includes the towing kit. You can also add the towing kit later using # SH88GR if you end up needing it.

@RobinH Hi Robin, I did purchase and install the stealth hitch for my Ioniq 5. It's been great! I love being able to detach it when I am not using it. It easily holds my Sport Rider Bike Rack and E-bike (77lbs). I've already recommended to friends. Thanks for the information, Robin!
