Question:
What is the width of the mounting block? I have an awning bracket close to the door so Im limited in width between the door and awning bracket. Also, do the mounting blocks fit in the regular mounting holes?

Hello S,
Great question, I was not able to find that information anywhere. Luckily I am always looking for a good excuse to stretch my legs so I took a stroll out the warehouse to get those measurements. For the Stromberg Carlson Folding Handrail for Fleet RVs - Stainless Steel - 45" Tall # AC-544 the widest part of the mounting block is 3 3/16", and the hole spacing is 1 1/4" center hole to center hole (please refer to images I attached). You will need to measure your current holes to see if it lines up.
Do you think this is going to work for your application?

Hey S, did the measurements I provided help you determine if the handrail will fit between your door and awning bracket? I'm curious to know if it worked out for you, as it could help others in a similar situation.
