2005 Keystone Hornet Sport 21 rsls HI all was wondering if the stromberg hand rail can be installed on the fluted aluminum sided type trailers? I know the morryde railing is not approved for the non fiberglass sided rvs. Thanks

Hey John,
You're likely going to run into an issue with the aluminum siding regardless of what railing you choose. The bases would need to fit inside the grooves of the side and match the spacing in order for you to not have to trim or alter the siding. I've seen people either trim out the siding just enough to fit the bases of the railing or place some sort of weatherproof block to push out from the siding for the bases to mount to.
With either installation method you'd obviously want to use some butyl tape # AL28FJ on the mounting screws and some non-sag sealant # 344270341437-1 to go around the base of the Stromberg Carlson Folding Handrail # AC-544 to prevent any water from leaking inside the wall.
