Can you Use the Furrion Propane RV Built-in Wall Oven Without the Power Hooked Up?

Does the propane model work without electricity? If it is hooked up to electricity, can the obnoxious knob lights be turned off? Are there any models without knob lights?

Hello Rachael,
The propane model # FSRD22LASS cannot be used without the electric because it is needed to spark the ignitor, but I have a different solution.
You are not the first person to bring up the annoying lights on the oven, the JR Products # 37213405 12V rocker switch would be a great little solution if you’re looking to shut off the LED knob lights on your Furrion oven. It’s a simple on/off SPST switch made for 12V systems just like what’s used in RVs and it can easily handle the low current that powers the lights and ignition system. You’d just need to splice it into the 12V power wire going to the oven. When you flip the switch off, it’ll cut power to the oven completely, which means no more glowing knobs (and no ignition either, just FYI). Flip it back on, and everything works as usual. It’s a neat, clean way to control the lights without having to unplug the oven or mess with the circuit board. With the all electric one you will not be able to do this.
