Question:
I have a 2016 tundra and just bought a grand design 22RK fifth wheel. Ive been looking at the RAS system, would like to know if this will help with the sag and towing of the fifth wheel or do I need to look at something else

Hello Donald, thanks for reaching out. The RAS kit for the 2016 Toyota Tundra part # RAS34FR will help with overall stability and will help reduce sagging. It may not take care of 100% of the sagging, but will definitely make a notifiable difference when towing your 5th wheel. If you want something that is a straight forward one-and-done install, the RAS is a great option.
If you want something to eliminate 100% of the sagging, an air bag kit like the # F2445 is what I would recommend. This will allow you to fine-tune your suspension for any load and get the truck back to its exact factory ride height no matter what kind of load you are hauling. The installation will be a bit more complex, and there is a bit more maintenance required, but it gives you more control over your suspension. If you plan to tow frequently, or plan to tow more than one trailer, this will be a better option.
The videos I linked below go over both options in more detail. Feel free to reach out with any other questions or comments and I will get back to you.

Hey Donald, how did things go with the RAS kit on your Tundra when towing your fifth wheel? Did it make a noticeable difference in reducing the sag? Your update could make it easier for others comparing the RAS and air bag setups.
