How Does Advent Start Capacitor Wire to AC Unit

Question:
I am installing the start capacitor on the Advent Air ACM135C. Does it matter which black wire goes to common and which one goes to herm. One of the wires has an extra spade connector attached.

Hey Bruce, connect the connector without the extra spade connector to the HERM circuit and connect the other to the common ground. Fast forward to 1:30 mark of attached video to see our installers do this as well.
