Stainless Steel Rotor Recommendation for UFP 3,500 lb Trailer Axle Brake Setup
Updated 10/22/2025 | Published 04/02/2025 >
Question:
The brakes on my ALS1928 Magic Tilt boat trailer are the UFP DB 35 type, 10 rotor. I am looking to move to SS or Dacromet rotors. The calipers are aluminum so no problem there, and I have the SS backed DB35 brake pads already. What would yall recommend for a Dacromet or SS rotor that will fit properly? Thanks!

Hey John, we have the stainless steel Kodiak rotor part # KR10S that will work with your UFP 3,500 lb axle setup. Stainless essentially will never rust so that is definitely the way to go.
