Question:
Good day I currently have a Karavan trailer with dual 3750 torsion axles. My current hub with is a ufp dB-35 10” rotor hub takes bearings L68149/L44649 and races L68110/L44610 with a seal of 2.56/1.68 and 1.98 dust cap. I want to upgrade my brakes to the Kodiak kit 10” selling for $480 that work with 13” rims. My question is that the Kodiak hub/rotor in this kit take the same bearings with same inner diameter but it takes a different race and the seal is slightly different. Is this going to be a problem will it still work on my axle? Would I run my current size seal with the Kodiak hub ? And is one race size being different any issue?

Expert Reply:
The Kodiak Disc Brake Kit part # K2HR35DS will work to replace a UFP DB-35 Hub/Rotor if you change out the seal to the Double Lip Seal for 3,700-lb Marine Hubs part # 168255TB. The races won't be an issue since they are specific to the hub.
