Where to Find Stoplight Circuit in 2018 Chevy Express Van Cutaway for Brake Controller

Question:
I have a 2018 Chevy Cutaway Van and Im having trouble finding a trailer brake control for it. The brake pedal switch is run by a 5v signal and most of the brake controls are 12v. Could you tell me what I need to wire a control in please. Also, the van is not wired for trailer brakes. Thank you!

Hey Ryan, when we installed a brake controller in a 2019 Chevy Express Van similar to yours we actually used a fuse tap under the hood for the brake switch circuit. If you fast forward to the 15 minute mark of the video I attached on this page you'll see our installer Shane point out which fuse he used.
The fuse tap he uses in the video is the part # 3375601000.
