Recommended Leaf Spring Enhancement for a 2023 Ford F-350 Hauling a Gooseneck Trailer

Question:

Hello, I have a 2023 Ford F350 SRW and will be towing a gooseneck horse trailer, 9,000 pound total load. Are these TorkLift StableLoad Suspension Upgrade for Upper Overload Springs useful in my situation, or are they mainly helpful when adding a lot of load to the bed camper, etc.?

Hey John! You're not going to get much help out of the TorkLift StableLoad Suspension Upgrade item # TLA7200 as far as towing a trailer goes. These are designed to help with heavy loads in your truck bed like slide in campers.

To upgrade your 2023 Ford F-350's suspension, I recommend the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit item # SSA46. They only activate as weight is being added and the factory leaf springs compress so they won't affect your unloaded ride quality. These will help level out your truck while also reducing side-to-side roll for better overall handling.

Please note that these will not work if your F-350 has the 3" block between the leaf pack and top overload spring.

Hey John, how did the SuperSprings suspension kit work out for your F-350 when towing your gooseneck horse trailer? Your update could make it easier for others setting up similar loads.
