What Trailer Hitch Fits a 2019-2021 BMW X5 with the M Sport Package?

I am thinking about purchasing a 2019 to 2021 BMW X5 with M Sport Package. I was trying to find one with the factory tow hitch which is rated at 7,200 lbs. that is proving difficult so I was thinking about purchasing without that package although according to what I read that is only 6,000 pounds. I plan on towing a car weighing about 3,600 pounds with a featherlight trailer weighing approximately 1,500 lbs. I would like the heavier capacity. What hitch can you recommend to give me the extra capacity if possible. Also,the ball mount that I have is set up for load levelers for my trailer. Need to know if I can still,use this with aftermarket trailer hitch.

Hey Alan, thanks for reaching out!
The only hitch that fits a 2019-2021 BMW X5 with the M Sport Package is the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH25VR. It has an 8K towing capacity and 600 lb tongue weight rating, but since your BMW doesn't have the factory tow package you'll be limited to your lower rating.
The Stealth Hitch lineup is a bit unique in that the receiver that comes with it is only designed for use with accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers. In order to tow with this system, you'll need to use their proprietary ball mount, which isn't compatible with weight distribution systems.
