Hey Richard, thanks for getting in touch. I looked up this Subaru L101SAN000 and it appears this is what I call a "bumper beam" hitch. To install the hitch you remove the bumper and the factory impact structure underneath. The hitch then gets sandwiched between the frame of the car and the impact structure. You can see a few examples in the pictures below.
We do offer a hitch that installs in the exact same location, has the same 2" receiver opening, and the same 3,500 lb towing 350 lb tongue weight capacity. For that I recommend the etrailer Class 3 Hitch # e25TR. It will have a nice seamless look behind the bumper, as you can see below.
It looks like the Subaru hitch comes with separate brackets whereas out hitch is all one piece. So you will save a few steps during install. I also feel like this makes the hitch a bit more robust as well, since it is all welded together.
We made a video showing this hitch being installed on a 2025 Outback, and I have provided that link for you below.
Are you going to be pulling a trailer? Or is this for a bike rack?
Feel free to reply with any questions or comments and I will get back to you.

Jesse - I have the 2025 Outback Wilderness, which also uses the same part mentioned above (L101SAN000), however the Subaru accessories book mentions the Wilderness hitch installation requires a Trailer Hitch Fascia Panel (L101SAN620). Do you have a similar part that would go with the installation of the Class 3 Hitch # e25TR you mentioned?
