Hello Curt,
Great question! The Roadmaster Brake Pressure Reducer # RM-900002 is designed for use with the BrakeMaster Supplemental Braking System # RM-9160 to reduce braking force on your towed vehicle. It helps prevent excessive braking that could lead to some nasty wear on your Frontier's brakes while flat towing.
This reducer installs in-line on the air supply line going to the BrakeMaster actuator inside your 2022 Nissan Frontier. It's usually placed under the dash or along the air line from the RV to the actuator.
You don’t need to adjust it between flat towing and regular driving. It only affects braking when the supplemental system is in use, leaving your Frontier’s normal braking untouched.
If your towed vehicle’s brakes feel too strong while towing, this reducer can help by limiting air pressure to the actuator.
Are you getting the Frontier ready to flat tow? Do you have any of the components? If you need any help getting the parts together, just let me know, I am happy to help!

Hey Curt, how did things go with the brake pressure reducer on your Frontier? Did it smooth out the braking when you used the BrakeMaster system for flat towing? Your update could make it easier for others setting up a similar setup.
