So apparently I did something wrong, when I attach to Car the brake fully applies with Coach park brake off. Stupid question is the Breakaway installation mandatory, because I did not connect it yet and how will that make a difference in the brake being fully depressed

Expert Reply:
The brake relay valve should be located just above the rear axle of your 2005 Fleetwood Discovery 39L. In the attached installation video for the Roadmaster BrakeMaster System w BrakeAway for RVs w Air or Air Over Hydraulic Brakes - Proportional # RM-9160 you can see that the valve is mounted to the frame of the motorhome and should look like figure 10 from the manual.
