It is designed to fit the 2019 and newer Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited, and also the 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Now, on a custom fit part like this, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this'll work for your application.This will easily mount your new BrakeMaster supplemental braking system with this custom seat adapter.
Does include everything shown here, all the mounting hardware you need, nice set of detailed instructions. This will simplify installation, ensures proper positioning of the supplemental braking system in your towed car. And it'll let you go from towing to driving in under a minute so your brake system can be removed very quickly and easily. This bracket will remain hidden beneath the seat when not in use, so there's no need to remove and store it. As you can see the shape of it, it'll contour to the floor for a nice, tight, customized fit.
And it attaches to the where your two front seat track bolts are. This part is made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on the Roadmaster BrakeMaster custom seat adapter.
Perfect fit for my 2021 Jeep Wrangler Safari Unlimited. Easy to install with very clear instructions.
After waiting 12 days for arrival of this part, I was surprised how BAD the fit is. You really have to wrestle to get this adapter installed, I gave 2 stars because of this difficulty. Eventually I did get it installed only see it does not line up with the brake pedal very well on my 2021 Jeep Overland Gladiator. I used the extra large bolt provided, which did not help the install at all being it did not have a lead-in tip like the factory bolt, so don’t understand why it was required it looks obnoxious sticking up from seat bracket after install. I may replace it with factory bolt and a thick washer.

Out of sight out of mind. It’s so easy to setup. Much better having this bracket for our Brakemaster.

Bracket is well built but alignment could have been better between 2022 Jeep Gladiator brake peddle and air cylinder mount.
The adapter did not line up very well with the seat bolts. I had to take the seat out entirely to get the adapter to fit. I had to finagle it to even be able to get the seat bolts back in. The peg for the connection to the brakemaster did not line up with the break pedal. I had to bend the breakmaster connector for it to work. Installation was not as clean and simple as it could have been if the part had been machined properly.
The RoadMaster BrakeMaster Custom Seat Adaptor for my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited is well built, very easy to install and does not interfere with the movement of the driver seat.

Contacted RoadMaster and etrailer, came to the conclusion that I should have installed RM87VR in my Gladiator Overland, etrailer quickly sent this unit, I installed it over the outer track and under the inner track with their hardware. It fit much better and aligned perfectly with my brake pedal. Sent RM69FR back, waiting difference refund. Much Happier with the customer service this time around. Happy Camper Here!
