Hey Mark, to convert your 3,500 lb axle on your 2025 Keystone Coleman Light 17RX to disc brakes you'd need the part # HBA16-252-82 that includes the actuator, breakaway kit, junction box, and 7-way trailer connector. Then for just the disc brake kits part # K2HR35D and you'd be set. I prefer the Hydrastar actuators as they are more reliable overall and faster reacting. Are you wanting more stopping power?

Jameson, it has a single 4,000# axle, not a 3,500, tires are ST205/75R14-D. - Mark

@MarkB Good catch sorry about that. So the 4k axle is not a standard axle configuration like some of the other ones so to be safe we would need to get the bearing numbers out of your current hub or the dimensions of the spindle where the bearings ride to for sure verify what you need. Its possible a 3,500 lb axle hub could fit but it might be a 5,200 or something totally unique.

@JamesonC What I’m seeing is the axle would need to be upgraded to a 5200, and then get the disc conversion kit for that. I would want to leave the 4k springs to avoid re-welding the holders. Add wet bolts & brass or bronze bushings & new ST225/75R15 tires & rims, incl spare. A major project!

@MarkB A new axle is definitely more of a project than you were probably hoping for. Before you do that though I would recommend pulling a hub and getting the bearing numbers in hopes you could just swap the hubs. With a trailer as new as yours I can't imagine you have one-off hubs that there isn't a hub/rotor available for.
