Question:

2025 Keystone Coleman Light 17RX. Want to replace bushings and add wetbolts, single 4k Terran axle. What bushings/wetbolts do I need?

Hi Mark; I recommend upgrading your shackles as well while you're at it using the Dexter Heavy Duty Suspension Upgrade Kit for Single Axle Trailers # K71-358-00. This includes wet bolts, bronze bushings, and 1/2" thick shackle straps so you can have confidence they will last. If you're set on just replacing the bolts and bushings you can use the # D014-077-00 and then for the wet bolts # LC126197.

Any big trips coming up with your 2025 Keystone Coleman Light 17RX?

Thanks, Robin! We have 2 trips to the Oregon coast planned for early August. I learned years ago to replace OEM nylon bushings w/bronze bushings & wet bolts after discovering our Grand Design Imagine 2500RL had them. I’m amazed that any legitimate RV manufacturer uses nylon bushings.

@MarkB that sounds really nice! I haven't been to Oregon in a really long time but would like to take my kids up there. Unfortunately, even the most reputable manufacturers tend to use the cheapest parts they can get at the time. Some of these small parts can easily fail and lead to a bad day, especially if you're using the trailer a lot and don't know what to check for. The first thing I did on my trailer was swap out the bushings and add wet bolts and upgraded shackle straps so I don't have to worry about it.

@RobinH I'm also installing a MorRyde X-Factor Brace on each spring eyelet, so I don't think this setup will work. I need the wet bolts to be 9/16 x 3-3/8".

@MarkB we can still make that work with the MORryde X-Factor # MR33WR by piecing it together using # LC126197 for the wet bolts and # K71-291-00 for the bushings. If you want the heavy duty shackles those can also be picked up separately # DX55FR.
