Today we're gonna take a look at this Taskmaster Strider ST20575R14 radio trailer tire in a load range D and it's mounted on this 14 inch Vesper silver modular steel trailer wheel with the five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. Now the wheel, it's a heavy duty, sturdy steel wheel, has the modular design with the silver finish. And when you say modular design, that's the one that'll have the round holes all the way around the wheel Has a silver E-coat finish to resist chipping and other damage better than your powder coat finishes. And the finish is applied after a zinc phosphate pretreatment and then it covers an eco primer layer. This will give you excellent corrosion resistance.

Has a salt spray rating of more than a thousand hours, which is way more than a galvanized wheel would give you. Few dimensions on the wheel itself. The diameter is 14 inches. The width on just the wheel is six inches wide. We mentioned the bolt pattern on this is a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern.

And if you wanna measure that on a wheel, that's an odd number of lugs. Like in this case, five. The way you would do it is pick one of the holes, let's say this one, and then you'll measure across to either one of these holes. But when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whichever hole you measure to. So on this, if we measure it'd be four and a half inches, so it's a five lug, four and a half inch bolt pattern.

Does use a wheel lug size of a half inch by 20. And the weight capacity on just the wheel is 2,200 pounds. If you notice, this wheel does not come with a center cap. If you do want one, we do sell those separately. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter as this pilot hole 'cause when you do install that cap, it'll go through this hole.

The diameter on this pilot hole is 3.27 inches. The tire that's mounted on it, it is a radial tire, means it is constructed with double steel belts, double polyester cords for a nice long life. It is great for highway use and it does have a nylon tread firming belt overlay to help prevent tread separation. It is an ST tire, which stands for Special Trailer Tire. Uses the sturdy sidewall so they can handle heavy loads. And it is created specifically for trailers. It's not intended for use on other vehicles. Tire size, which will be stamped on it; ST for special trailer 205/75/R14. R means that it is a radial tire. Section width, eight inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated, it's 26.1. This is a load range D, which means it's a eight ply rated tire. It does have a maximum load capacity of 2040 pounds at 65 PSI. And this tire does come with a speed rating. And they do stamp that on here, on the tire, but it is with a letter designation. And where you'll usually find it, if you go down to the tire size right here down by the wheel, right after it, you'll see two numbers for the load index and then they stamp a letter N. Speed rating N will mean 87 miles per hour. It does have a two year platinum plus warranty, which includes roadside service and other benefits. And this assembly does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications and it will exceed your federal motor vehicle safety standards. Now also always remember that the.
