Tie Down Recommendation for 2007 Ford F-350 and 3,400 lb Camper

Updated 11/04/2025 | Published 02/25/2025

Question:

I have a 2007 F-350 single rear wheel long bed. Could I get a recommendation on anchors for a 3400lb camper?

Hey Alex, for your 2007 Ford F-350 single axle long bed I would go with a frame mounted tie down like the Torklift part # TL93VV which is a front and rear set confirmed to fit your truck. This will be much more secure and stable than a bed mount and has the extra capacity you'd need for the weight of your camper.

Hey Alex, how did the TorkLift frame-mounted tie downs work out with your F-350 and camper setup? Your experience could point others in the right direction.

The mounts worked out great! exact fit and took about 4 hours to install by myself with basic socket set and a torque wrench @JamesonC
