Question:

Tekonsha T-One T-Connector Harness, 4-Way Flat, w/Circuit Protected ModuLite HD Module TK118730. Tekonshas website says this part will fit a 2019 VW sportwagen S but your site indicates it doesnt fit. Who is right? I would like to buy it from you because you are a midwest operation. Thanks

Hey Joe, thanks for reaching out. We actually removed the Tekonsha # 118730 as a fit for the 2019 VW Golf Sportwagen after we received multiple complaints from customers stating it does NOT in fact fit the 2019 models because the plugs are different. We actually went back and forth with Tekonsha on this for a while back in 2020, and it appears their website still has not been updated (which sadly is not surprising).

That said, if you need a wiring harness for your 2019, the best option is the Tekonsha ZCI harness # 119250KIT. This way you can add a 4-flat without cutting the vehicles harness. The video below will show you an example of installation.
