What is Bracket Height for etrailer 2 Swivel Jacks e34RV and e94RV

Updated 07/23/2025 | Published 02/09/2025

Question:

Hello Expert, I love the videos and information you guys provide. I have a question on Part Number: e34RV and e94RV. I have an alum. frame trailer. My question relates to the fact that the bottom of the trailer is about 14.5inch above the ground. My question is should I get the larger travel swivel jack or the 10inch of travel. Im leaning with the larger travel jack to make sure I can get the trailer off the ground for tire changes, but Im worried aobut it bc I dont know the dimensions of that mounting bracket to the center of the hole. Can you possibly provide that dimension or advise on which of the part numbers I should order? I plan on getting 4 of these total. Thanks, Josh

Hey Josh, the dimension for both jacks that you are looking for is the bracket height. This is the distance from the center of the jack's mounting bracket down to the ground when extended/retracted. On the shorter part # e34RV the bracket height is:

10-1/4" Retracted
20-1/4" Extended

And on the taller # e94RV the bracket height is:

15-5/8" Retracted
31-1/8" Extended

I would probably lean on going with the taller option but it really comes down to you checking out both options and seeing which height range would work best for you.

Jameson C, I’m interested in these double side wind jacks. But, I need to ask a few questions. #1, what is the total height from the very top of the side wind to the bottom of the rectangular pad. #2, does each jack lift 3000 pounds, or two jacks needed to accomplish 3000 pounds? #3, is ever included to bolt this to your trailer? ( so I need how many inches of metal to attach swivel bracket? ). I’m looking at the e94RV and the e34RV. How cand you determine which one to get, the 10” travel or the15+” travel? Edward Laughlin

@EdwardL Is the first dimension you asked about basically just the overall height of the jack? Each jack is rated for 1,500 lbs. There isn't a way to bolt this specific style of jack to a trailer as it's a weld on but there are bolt on jacks similar if you are interested in that? Picking between the two jacks really comes down to the height of the frame on your trailer where the jack would mount and how high off the ground you need to jack it up.

@JamesonC Yes, the very tip top to the base pad. I was afraid that it took two jacks to reach 3000 pounds. Are there other double jacks that support 4000 pounds or more? The description states bolt on jacks for the two I viewed. Is the bolt on a separate purchase? Edward

@EdwardL For both jacks the overall height is 16-3/4 inches. Does your trailer's tongue weight actually exceed 3,000 lbs or are you thinking that is the overall trailer weight capacity for these jacks? I didn't realize they do come with bolt on brackets so sorry about that.
