Need Replacement Key Fob For 2017 Ford Raptor With Retrax Powered Tonneau Cover

Question:

I bought a used 2017 Ford Raptor with the Powered Retrax Tonneau Cover in the open position. The dealer had no FOB for it and when they called the previous owner he said it worked but he had broken one FOB and lost the other camping. I tried to find a serial number but there isnt anything visible under the rails at the bulkhead. The cover I have doesnt have a lock on either side of the bed. I know it is not possible to confirm the replacement FOB will work without the S/N but was hoping to get a more likely than not that the cover I have is consistent with the covers that the replacement FOB does work for.

Hey Ian, thanks for reaching out. Without the serial number there is no way to know for sure which fob will work for your cover. The Replacement Key Fob item # RTX36TR matches up with covers that have a serial number of 1701 or higher. It doesn't look like we offer one for a cover with a higher serial number. If your cover was originally purchased in 2017 it should have a higher serial number but there is no way to absolutely confirm this aside from getting the fob and giving it a try.
