Hello John, thanks for getting in touch. The Hellwig # HE45XR you mentioned does fit a long list of different vehicles, but it is not universal for all Silverados. You will need a slightly different model for your 2006 Chevy 2500HD. For that, the correct model is the following:
- Hellwig Load Pro 35 Heavy Duty Helper Springs with Custom Mounting Kit - 2-1/2" Wide # HE25XR
