When the weight piles on from towing or hauling, the rear end shouldn’t sag. The Hellwig Load Pro 35 Progressive Helper Springs add up to 3,500 lbs of load leveling capacity to your factory leaf springs. They keep your truck sitting level and steady whether you’re towing a heavy trailer or hauling gear in the bed, so steering and braking stay consistent mile after mile.
No one wants a harsh ride when unloaded. These helper springs use a progressive rate design that flexes with your factory leaf springs, staying soft and compliant when empty but firming up automatically as weight increases. The result is a smoother ride day to day and tighter control when loaded down.
Uneven loads can throw off handling and make your truck lean to one side. Each side of the Hellwig Load Pro 35 can be adjusted independently, letting you fine-tune support where it’s needed most. That means less sway, reduced bounce, and a more confident feel when towing or carrying uneven cargo.
These helper springs are made from durable steel with a silver vein hammer tone powder coat finish that resists corrosion. The bolt-on installation kit mounts above your rear factory leaf springs for a solid, secure fit that holds up through years of towing and hauling without losing performance.
If your vehicle is equipped with a factory contact overload it may need to be removed before installing the new helper springs. Please consult the installation guide. Do not install on vehicles with composite (plastic) leaf springs.

Now, this load Pro 35 Spring Set features a nice, progressive rate design, which is ideal for vehicles or fleet applications that'll consistently carry a heavy load day in and day out. The progressive rate springs adjust to the load on your vehicle for an improved ride, and they won't affect your ride while it's unloaded. These are custom helper springs. They'll upgrade your factory leaf springs to reduce sway and body roll. These will prevent sagging when you're towing or hauling heavy loads, and it'll help extend the life of your factory suspension, tires and brakes.
These are four help relief springs that'll flex with the factory leaf springs to limit bouncing, while providing optimal stability. These are easy to install. You just bolt these above your factory leaf springs. The drivers and the passenger side can be adjusted independently for uneven loads. Comes with the custom installation kit here, which includes the zinc plate at hardware you can see.
Now, one note I do wanna mention, if your vehicle is equipped with a factory contact overload, it may need to be removed before installing these new helper springs. They use a silver vein hammer toned powder coat finish on the whole leaf springs. This will help resist corrosion, gives it a nice look to it. And these parts are made in the USA. A few specs on this. The weight capacity is 3500 pounds. One note I wanna mention is these Hellwig Helper Springs will not increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity. But that should do it for the review on the Hellwig Load Pro 35 Progressive Helper Springs with the Custom Mounting Kit.

I have a Chevy 1500, 2005 pickup and wanted to get a little more support on the back end when pulling trailers. Installation was easy and only took about an hour. It gives my truck a smoother ride when there’s a trailer or no trailer, I’m very happy with my decision to install the Hellwig spring supports.
