Troubleshooting Trailer Right Stop/Turn Signal not Functioning on a 2011 Honda Odyssey 4-Way

Updated 07/02/2024 | Published 06/08/2014

Question:

I have installed the hitch light wiring on my 2011 Honda odyssey. It worked fine at first . But yesterday I noticed the right break light is not functioning. I checked it with the hitch connector and that is out as well. Hoping it is a fuse. Where would I find the fuse to check if this is the problem? Thanks for your help. Regards

The first place I would check is the rear fuse panel on your 2011 Honda Odyssey. It sounds like you blew a fuse so checking the condition of the fuses required to install the Tow Ready Wiring Harness part # 118521 is a logical solution.

You will want to check the condition of the 10 amp fuse that's in the number 8 position of the rear fuse box as well as the 7.5 amp fuses in the number 2 and 11 position.

Fast forward to the 2:00 minute mark of the video I attached to see where these fuses are located.
