Updated 11/03/2025 | Published 01/26/2025 >
Question:
Hi I would like to install a backup camera on my 26 cargo trailer which i tow with a 45 motorhome. I have easy access to a marker light if a wireless system can transmit that far or would i need a wired system? Thanks.

Hey Peter, while that is a pretty long distance the Furrion Vision S systems like the part # FOS05TASF that you referenced has the best range for wireless setups and would easily work for you as it has a 492 foot range. The clearance light circuit is correct activation circuit to use as well.

Hey Peter, how did the Furrion Vision S system work out on your cargo trailer and motorhome setup? It sounds like the range should have been plenty for your distance. Sharing how it performed could help others with similar rigs.
