What size chain, ie. 3/8 or 5/16, fit this gooseneck adapter?

Hey Terry! Safety chains like the Gen-Y # GY49GR will work with the MORryde GooseTech 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # MR99MV. The safety chain slot can handle 3/8" or 5/16" so either size will fit. We prefer the Gen-Y because they're easy to install on the GooseTech.
Do you have a Lippert 1716 bolt pattern on your 5th wheel? The GooseTech is bolt pattern and weight specific so you want to make sure both are correct for your trailer.
