Best Front Suspension Enhancement for 2024 Winnebago Vita on Sprinter Chassis

Updated 11/03/2025 | Published 01/12/2025

Question:

I’m in the process of beefing up my 2024 Winnebago Vita suspension on a Mercedes 2022 chassis. I’ve installed Fox 2.5 heavy shocks on the rear, was thinking of changing anti sway bar out with Hellwig but they are both the same size so didn’t change it out, now I want the best for the front and want to know if there is anything better than the Sumo? Possibly spring over strut? Thanks

Hey Chuck, I would go with the SumoSprings part # SSF-106-47 as the best front suspension enhancement for your 2024 Winnebago Vita built on a Sprinter chassis. This will give you the best blend of support, ride quality, and stability over the other options.

Are you interested at all in any rear suspension enhancement?

Hey Chuck, how did the SumoSprings work out on the front of your Winnebago Vita? It’d be great to hear if they gave you the ride and stability you were after. Your feedback could really help others upgrading their Sprinter chassis.

@JamesonC, I added the 1000lb Sumosprings on the front, Fox2.5 heavy shocks on the rear plus Hellwig booster springs on the rear and found a 90% better ride. Very little sway from wind or entering or leaving parking lots. Ride was improved far more than I thought possible! Great cost effective upgrades! I love the Hellwig booster springs as you can tighten one side more than the other, heavy slide side, to even out the rv! Thank You etrailer!

@Chuck That's awesome to hear! We don't hear as much feedback on the Hellwig kits like the part # HE47QR that you installed but I will keep them in mind next time someone is looking for a better ride.
