Question:
Hi, we bought a new forest river RV Trailer and are experiencing the issue of no power to the back up camera. Tow vehicle is a VW Atlas... As the camera is fix attached to the back of the trailer and I rather dont want to destroy it, I wonder if I could install this filter directly into the main junction box for the tail lights. Would be great if you could confirm if this would work safely or not. Thank you

Hi Florian; as long as you get the 12V PWM Filter for RV Backup Camera Systems # VGR64VR installed in-line with the power/ground source for your camera you can install it wherever you want on the trailer. It doesn't have to be right behind the camera itself. If you can access it in that junction box that is perfectly acceptable.

Hey Florian, how did things go after you added the 12V PWM filter in the junction box for your camera? It’d be great to know if that solved the power issue on your Forest River trailer. Your update could make it easier for others dealing with the same setup.
