What RV Cover do you recommend for the 2022 Sunset Sunray 149 Sport? My concern is the rack on possibly damaging the cover and what I can do to avoid it?

Hey Lonnie, thanks for reaching out. I can definitely point you in the right direction, but can you first tell me the length of the body of your 2022 Sunset Sunray 149 Sport camper? The online specs guide lists a length of 16' 2" but they do not say if this is the length of just the trailer body, or the full length including the tongue. Please confirm this for me.
If the body of the camper is indeed 16' long, your best option for a cover will be the Classic Accessories PolyPro III Deluxe RV Cover # CA80-197-171001-00. This is designed specifically for the "pod" shaped campers like yours, and it will fit campers between 15' and 17' long. This is perfect because it will allow a bit of extra space for the rack on top of your camper. The top panel is reinforced, but if you are worried about the rack causing any damage it is best to cover any potential tear points. I have seen people use pool noodles for this and it works really well. That or you could use towels or any soft material. Basically, just cover any pointy ends that could snag the cover. Generally stuff on the roof is not detrimental to the cover as long as it is installed correctly/carefully.
