RV Furnace Recommendation to Replace Atwood 2334DCLP

Question:

i am looking for a furnace to replace my current unit in a 30-foot fifth wheel Current model is an Atwood 2334DCLP. this is a door type with access from outside

Hey Gary, I looked up your Atwood 2334DCLP and it's a 12k BTU furnace that is designed for the standard RV furnace openings as it measures 7 inches high x 12 inches wide x 20 inches deep. The Dometic part # DMC86RR would work great in place of what you have now as it's exact same dimensions. It also would be able to heat your RV a little better too as it is rated at 20k BTU. It is our closest in BTU option we have as well. How did the Atwood perform for you?

It performed well but its a 24/ 30000 Btu 2 stage i think the 12000 would be to small

Hello Jameson C The unit Dometic suggested was the DFMD30111 as below thank you for contacting Dometic. The direct replacement is the DFMD30111. You will also need a new door, part number 33057 for white or 33056 for white. The furnace only thermostat would be part number 9610008133.
